Guinea Fowl
at Pate Farms
Guinea Fowl are fun birds to watch around the farm. They love to run and chase one another. They look as though they are little soldiers wearing helmets...we joke that they report into General (our head peacock) for orders. They make lots of buckwheat noise and let us know when anything is amiss around the farm. They love to eat insects...and they help keep the ticks away from the farm...that makes all the animals happy...
